ABOUT

Hi! I'm Savannah Johnson

A Product Designer

I am a designer with a passion for creativity, authenticity, and problem solving.  I graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2021 with a Bachelor in Visual Communication Design as well as with a User Experience Design Certificate.

I strive to make products and designs that not only look good but are functional and evolve with the users and time.  I am someone who loves a good puzzle, and approach my design work with a critical eye and find out of the box solutions to user’s needs.

Outside of my UX work, I am often found at home sheltering away from the rainy Washington weather.  You can find me watching all sorts of shows and movies, playing video games, reading a book, or *gasp!* occasionally braving the great outdoors with my family and dogs.

An Artist at Heart

Creativity is something that has been a constant in my life.  I fondly remember my childhood bedrooms having bright colors and murals painted on the walls.  I have never lost that creative spark, and often will incorporate illustrations and a touch of creativity into my UX work.

A Go Getter

I am someone who know the strength of pushing yourself to the best of your potential.  I attended the running start program in high school which allowed me to achieve my Associates of Arts simultaneously with my high school diploma; Therefore, I graduated college with my Bachelors two years ahead of my peers.

A Constant Learner

I am forever curious about the world around me.  I always enjoy taking up new hobbies or learning new skills, whether they be within my industry or out.  I always approach the world with an open mind and a heart of learning.

A Storyteller

As a consumer of all things media, I love the feeling you get when the credits roll and you can’t look away from the screen because you know you have just watched a masterpiece.  I like to keep this feeling in mind when designing as I feel a truly exceptional design feels like a journey.  One that leads the user through winding forest paths, deep mountain canyons, and vast rolling hills.
