Collaborating with the Gender, Women's & Sexuality Studies in their Black Lives and Movements Matter: Black History Month graphic design contest I was challenged to design and illustrate three social media post and a poster focused on a prominent black activist, celebrity, or movement.
As I am not a member of the BIPOC community I wanted to use my privilege in this project to allow my peers, specifically my fellow white peers, to be challenged and reflect on our own privilege. I was able to place third in the contest.
